Weather Week

This might be the most ambitious craft of the summer...  Wind socks!  Yesterday we used glue to create the design, and today we painted them.  Tomorrow we should theoretically be able to wash off the glue to leave white lines under our paint.  Fingers crossed!
We also made a rainbow in a jar today!

Wrapping up Plant Week

Some serious observation going on here:
Growing plants from scraps!
And here's the green onion 4 days later...  It worked!

Plant Week

We're having a more chilled out few weeks so Shepard can relax and enjoy his last two weeks of freedom before he starts real school!  We're still doing projects but they're less intensive, and we'll be doing some special treats like the Minion Movie :)

Yesterday's project was the classic white flower/celery in food color experiment:
And today we painted with veggies:

Farm Week Day 3

Today we completed our paper plate animals...

Working on the sheep:
And the cow:
The cow went a little Picasso on us...
Happy trio (pig, sheep, and mad cow)
We also went outside for a little sensory play involving farm animals and corn meal:
First all the animals were removed and placed nicely to the side:
Then this happened (and it's why sensory play only happens outside!)
