Riley's trip to the ER

Poor Riley bug had to go to the ER last month due to a sudden croup attack in the middle of the night.  Fortunately ( or unfortunately depending on how you look at it) we are all too familiar with breathing ailments so we rushed her right in and got her steroids before it became too bad, and she was right as rain the next day!

She used the trip as an opportunity to showcase her flair for the dramatic...  Oh, woe is me!

Picnic in the Cohuttas

Shepard talked about having a picnic all day on Saturday, and it was a beautiful day today so we packed up a picnic this morning and headed out to the mountains to find the perfect spot!

As we were leaving, Shepard thought it would be a good idea to put rocks in Ted's wheels. We made him pull them all out, and then he whined about the great unfairness of life which resulted in grease being rubbed all over his eye. He would look like such a tough guy if he wasn't so pouty!

Shepard Has Discovered the Joy of Ice Cream

It's always been a struggle getting Shepard to eat anything, sweets included. HOWEVER we recently went to a place that had homemade ice cream, and Shepard ate all of his cake batter ice cream, then asked for (and polished off) my peanut butter cup ice cream, and then finished Daddy's lemon custard ice cream. Piggy!
