Clarkesville/Tallulah Falls

We took an overnight trip to the mountains this weekend to go see Tallulah Falls - the "Niagra Falls of the South".

Pre-baby overnight trip = champagne cooler... post-baby overnight trip = milk chiller.

Getting an Early Start on His Christmas List:

Shep spent most of the ride home with a copy of the most recent Toys 'R Us catalog. We kept hearing squeals of joy as he turned the pages and saw new toys that he could get.

Where Cabbage Patch Kids are Born!

We passed the Cabbage Patch General Hospital on the way to and from Helen. AWESOME! We had no idea that Cabbage Patch kids are born in Cleveland, Ga, but now that we do we're totally going back to check it out!

"Alpine" Helen

We decided to check out Helen, Ga today. It wound up being the most random tacky tourist trap ever, but Shepard loved it because it was so hot that we let him get ice cream *twice*!



We also saw some goats that live on a roof in Helen which was kind of cool, but definitely random and tacky touristy.











The best part about Helen was it's close proximity to Anna Ruby Falls! Waterfalls are a big hit with Shep...

Hilton Head

Ted's parents took us to Hilton Head for the 4th... We had a blast! So much fun, in fact, that we only took time out to take this one picture. Good thing it's so cute!
