Everybody's got to have a dream...

On the way back from Cartersville we visited the coolest neighborhood in the NW Atlanta suburbs. Phase 5 is open, and we've already laid claim to lot 109. Check out the views - how can we resist? Now we just need to figure out how to come up with the million dollar asking price before someone else swoops in and steals it out from under us! Ideas and/or donations gladly accepted!

Indian Mounds

We visited the super awesome Etowah Indian Mounds in Cartersville today!







Heading up to the Chief's mound. I bet if I was an Indian this is where I would have lived!





It was HOT so we took a break by the river before walking back to the car.

Time to Grow Up

Shepard has decided that he wants to be called Shep. Not Shepard, not Sheppy, not Sheppypants, not Shepster, not Sheparooney... Just Shep. If you call him anything else he'll quickly correct you. We don't know why he wants such a mature name already - Maybe he knows that there will never be a first round draft pick named Sheppy... Or maybe he's just sick of the other kids in his class simply calling him Pants.
