Our Trip to the ZOO

We were rewarded with a perfect Saturday today after the coldest winter in recent memory, so we joined the rest of the city in spending the day outside!

We started our tour of the zoo with the elephants...



Then we saw some lemurs...



And then we moved on to the Silverback/hs - "our people"



The best part about the Silverback habitat is the cool statue out front!






After Mom and Dad pried me away from the gorilla statue (and survived a small tantrum) we went to go see the pandas.





Playing with the panda's bamboo is way more fun than watching him eat it!



We ended the day with a stop at the flamingo pit.

We listen to the blues every morning as we're getting ready - Shepard may be a bit on the pale side but the kid has soul!

Eli still has at least one fan!

Shepard still loves Eli, even with his poorly timed interceptions and his bad habit of forward sliding.
